Recap: Circle of Sisters 2015
The 11th annual Circle of Sisters Expo was held in New York City and Team HAIRFINITY was one of many participants on hand for this year’s event. The Circle of Sisters, whose mantra is moving, changing, growing, is meant to empower women of color. The Jacob Javits Center was the home of the event this year which was held on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday October 18th.
In our on-going mission to educate women about growing and maintaining healthy hair, we had our Happy Hair Ambassadors join us for the event and share their hair journeys with the expo attendees. There were also lots of give-aways and special offers and a photo booth to provide visitors with an interactive experience.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson surprised the audience when as he came out in support of his Power co-star Rotimi, who performed on the HAIRFINITY Hot 97 performance stage (video). Rotimi, Chef Jeff, and We the Best Music Group artist Steph Lecor all stopped by the booth to show some love, learn about our products and of course take lots and lots of photos.
