The Microcopic Hair Analysis is made up of 4 individual tests; Bulb examination, Porosity Test, Elasticity Test, and Cortex Examination.

Tests Explanations:

Bulb Examination:
Hair loss and slow growing hair is commonly the result of DHT, dirt, or bacteria. Dirt and bacteria can plug the follicle, causing hair to stop growing. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) causes deterioration of the hair follicle's internal structure causing shedding of hair, baldness and hair loss. Reducing DHT levels may eliminate hair loss. The Bulb Examination will determine if DHT levels, bulb dirt, or bacteria may be affecting your hair growth,

Porosity Test:
The Porosity Test measures the hair's ability to absorb moisture. Overly-porous hair releases moisture easily which causes it to become dry and easily damaged. Performing chemical services on overly porous hair can cause irreversible damage.

Elasticity Test:
The Elasticiy Test will determine the overall moisture and elasticity of your hair. Hair that lacks proper elasticity breaks easily. This can cause hair growth to seem slow since growing hair does not reach its full potential. (It breaks before it gets to its maximum length).

Cortex Examination:
Vitamins and amino acids are essential for healthy growing hair. This test will determine if you may need to supplement certain vitamins.
